Hiring Coordinator: Carma McKayFounded in 1884, Seattle
Children’s Home helps children and their families by providing
comprehensive mental health and developmental services. We are
seeking an experienced Development Manager to join our small
Development and Marketing Team. The successful candidate will be
responsible for hands on management of the annual fund, special
events, Raiser’s Edge database, guilds and volunteer program.
1. Annual Fund
- Develops and implements a coordinated plan to raise annual
operating revenues. Coordinates annual giving solicitations,
direct mail program, donor recognition, solicitation materials
and donor cultivation activity
- Working with Development volunteers and staff, as well as
third party vendors you will plan, coordinate copy and design,
implement and maintain a schedule for newsletters, annual report
and appeal mailings
- Manage a portfolio of donors capable of annual
contributions under $5,000 including personalized contact and
face-to-face meetings
- Provides donor research information to assist Board and
management efforts to increase SCH base of “leadership” donors
2. Events
- Responsible for planning and implementing agency special
events
- Includes overseeing all stages of preparation, site
coordination, procurement, attendance, production, volunteers,
sponsorships and post-event evaluation
- Work with guilds, committees, staff, volunteers and third
parties, to ensure the effective execution of events to raise
money and awareness for Seattle Children’s Home.
3. Database Management – Responsible for the following using
our Raiser’s Edge database:
- Recording, tracking and timely acknowledgement of all
donations,
- Monthly gift reports balance with the finance department.
- Train Development staff and volunteers on proper use of the
Raiser’s Edge database.
- In conjunction with the Information Technologies Department
insure all appropriate upgrades, back-ups and maintenance of the
database are installed and used properly
- Generates reports as needed
4. Public Relations, Media, Advertising and Marketing
Coordination
- Help Build awareness of and demand for SCH programs
available to the public at large.
- Monitors print and broadcast media for current events that
can create promotional opportunities for Seattle Children’s
Home.
- Maintains a current list of media contacts
- Coordinates in-house design, copy, updating, and production
of agency collateral
- Represents the agency at assigned community events
including: volunteer and charity fairs, workplace giving events,
and other community activities
5. In-Kind Gifts
- Identifies and pursues opportunities in accordance with
agency priorities
- Manages the holiday gift program
- Tracks In-Kind giving in Raiser’s Edge database
6. Volunteers Management
- Identifies volunteer positions in accordance with agency
needs
- Recruits, trains and assigns volunteers
- Recruits, interviews, assures that appropriate forms,
background check, etc. are performed
- Monitor volunteer performance

Hiring Coordinator: Gena PalmSeattle Children’s Home has
openings for a full time MST Therapist and half-time MST
Supervisor. MST is a well-researched community-based treatment
model directed at youth involved in criminal activity and their
family. Interested persons may locate information about this

The MST therapist will provide intensive home-based clinical
services to families and youth involved with the juvenile
justice system with the goal of preventing an out of home
placement. The therapist must be able to work closely with
juvenile probation counselors and community providers. Staff
will need to be able to work a flexible schedule including
some weekday evenings and occasional weekend appointments, carry a crisis pager for their assigned
cases and attend an initial one week MST training.
The MST Supervisor duties will include liaison with key
collaborating agencies, providing ongoing evaluation and staff
development for therapists, interfacing with MST expert
consultants and providing overall program management. 2 – 3
years of clinical supervisory-level experience preferred.
Specific experience in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Structural
Family Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy and behaviorally-based
marital and drug treatment therapy preferred.

Queen Anne Hill? We are a non-profit organization dedicated to
serving psychiatrically unique youth ages 7-17 years old by
using a multi-disciplinary team approach. Seattle Children’s
Home is a Joint Commission accredited residential treatment
center that offers 24 hour nursing care. We also offer teaching
opportunities to local universities and community colleges. Some

Hiring Coordinator: Taku Mineshita
Provide direct care and supervision for youth with emotional &
behavioral disorders in a therapeutic residential treatment
environment. Successful candidates will possess an understanding
of appropriate interactions with children and adolescents and
enjoy working with a challenging mental health population.
BA in psychology, social work or related field is preferred.
Experience may be substituted depending on type and nature.
Washington State counselor registration and valid Washington
driver's license required prior to employement. Effective written and verbal
communication skills necessary. Current CPR, First Aid,
and food handlers permit to be acquired within first 30 days of
employment.
Must be willing to work day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts.
$10 to $12.49 per hour. Full time, part time and relief
positions available.
